participants in the CHAI Method™ Foundations Training and related activities. It applies to all registration, communications, and training services provided by ICFCR.

  • Payment details (processed securely by third-party providers, not stored by ICFCR)

  • Accessibility or accommodation requests (if voluntarily provided)

  • CE credit verification (attendance records, certificates issued)

  • Process registrations and payments

  • Communicate event details and updates

  • Verify attendance for CE credits

  • Issue certificates of completion

  • Respond to inquiries and grievances

  • With your consent, send information about future programs or events

 

4. Marketing & Communications

Transactional emails (registration, payment, event updates) will always be sent.

Marketing emails (newsletters, future training) will only be sent with your express opt-in consent (CASL compliant). You may unsubscribe at any time.

 

5. Information Sharing

  • We do not sell or rent your information.

  • Personal data may be shared with service providers (e.g., payment processors, registration platforms) strictly for operational purposes.

  • We may disclose information if required by law or for safety/security reasons.

 

6. Confidentiality of Training Content

  • Information shared during workshops (e.g., personal experiences) is considered confidential. Participants are expected to maintain privacy and not disclose identifying details of others.

 

7. Data Retention

  • Registration and CE credit records are retained for up to 7 years to comply with professional development record-keeping requirements.

  • Marketing data is retained until you withdraw consent.

 

8. Security

  • Personal information is stored on secure systems with restricted access.

  • Payment details are processed by secure third-party providers; ICFCR does not store credit card numbers.

 

9. Your Rights

Under BC’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you

  • Correct or update your information

  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications

  • Request deletion of your information, subject to legal and CE credit obligations
